Prior Castle Inn: Historic Tudor-style inn with granite architecture and English gardens

Rooms & Suites

The Westminster Chamber offers two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, and a balcony with ocean and mountain views. The Nottingham Chamber includes a large bathroom with a sunken spa bath and a private balcony. Each suite has a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV, and individually decorated spaces with a fireplace.

Dining & Breakfast

A complimentary buffet breakfast is served on weekdays in the Victorian dining room or on the garden patio. The breakfast includes hot and cold options, fresh bread, pastries, and fruit. Guests can also enjoy afternoon coffee and snacks available throughout the day.

Gardens & Grounds

The property has extensive English Style gardens with perennial borders and a stone terrace. A sun terrace with outdoor furniture and a shared lounge area are available for guest relaxation. The gardens offer views of the ocean and are adjacent to Government House gardens.

The inn is located 500 metres from Craigdarroch Castle and across from Government House gardens. Victoria Harbour ferry terminal and Waterfront Tours are within walking distance. Butchart Gardens is a 30-minute drive away, and the University of Victoria is nearby.
